By promoting the idea that children too have their human rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, 22 years ago, not only laid the foundations of a new attitude towards children but also of a new better society tomorrow. By investing in children today, the society really invests in its future, in which today's children will assume the responsibilities to the extent and in a manner as we have taught them that today.

Children have their own obligations and responsibilities in accordance with their age and their ability to assume the obligations and responsibilities.

Their growing up requires, by providing them with the exercise of rights, at the same time we teach them the responsibilities towards themselves and towards others.

On rights of children in general, on obligations and responsibilities of children in the educational system, the Ombudsman for Children will talk with a new group of Young Advisors, high school students from all parts of Republic of Srpska. The Seminar for Young Advisors is held in cooperation with the Gender Centre of the Government of Republic of Srpska / with the financial support of the FIGAP Program / at Borje from December 9 - 11. 2011.
