Every year Ombudsman for Children organizes workshops "Your rights in your school" in Primary and Secondary Schools in the Republic of Srpska. In the past three years, workshops had been organized in more than 90 schools, and children spoke with Ombudsman for Children's representatives about their rights in many areas related to their upbringing.

This year, the workshops under the name "Do we know what violence is?" will be held from September 17th to November 20th - the International Day of the Child. The goal of the workshops is to familiarize children with their right to protection from violence and education of elementary and secondary school students about all the forms of violence, how to recognize and prevent it and to whom to report such occurrences.

Workshops will be held in 17 elementary and 12 secondary schools and they will not disrupt the educational process.
